What are highly effective charities?

Highly effective charities are high-impact and cost-effective, with hard evidence to support this. Unfortunately, some charities are less impactful than you might think, and we want our money to create as much positive change as possible.

We support these charities as part of our commitment to the effective altruism movement, which uses reasoning and careful analysis to find the best causes to work on. Together, when we choose the causes with the highest impact and take a longtermist view, we’re able to do much more good!
